Tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan koronavirüs salgını beraberinde yoğun önlemleri de getirdi. Pek çok ülke sınırlarını kapatırken kimi ülkeler de belirli koşulları karşılayanları sınırlarından içeriye kabul etmeye başladı. Baltık ülkesi Estonya uygulamaya aldığı yeni karara göre son altı ay içinde koronavirüs geçirmiş veya aşılanmış ziyaretçilerden karantina talep etmeyecek. Avrupa Birliği sınırları içinde öncü bir uygulama olan bu kararın, birliğe üye diğer ülkeler tarafından da yakın gelecekte emsal kabul edilip hayata geçirilmesi bekleniyor. AB üyesi Estonya dışında benzeri kararı uygulamaya başlayan veya bu yönde adımlar atan kıtada başka ülkeler de bulunuyor.
